Root Watering System

APPLICATION

For young plants and trees to thrive, they must receive adequate irrigation and a steady exchange of oxygen across all levels of the root zone. This encourages roots to grow deep and remain safely below ground, allowing plants to become strong and fully established.

The Alwasail Root Watering System allows vital water, air, and nutrients to bypass compacted soil and directly reach tree and shrub root systems. It supports ground installation to depths of either 36″ (91.4 cm) or 18″ (45.7 cm) for the RWS.

This system is designed for use with water dispensing devices, such as a bubbler head or an emitter. Users can customize the system to meet their specific irrigation requirements or opt for a version with a pre-installed bubbler.

HOW TO USE IT?

Position units evenly, spaced adjacent to the root zone and within the tree’s canopy.
Consider filling canisters with pea gravel for improved top-to-bottom water dispersion and added firmness against root compression.
For promoting long-term deep and broad roots, consider installing two Root Watering System perimeters on separate zones: operate the inner zone for the first couple of years and the outer zone in subsequent years.

FEATURES

Pressure-compensating bubbler flow rates: 0.9 l/min or 1.9 l/min for precise watering.
Easy swing locking and wide cap design provide durable, vandal-proof protection for irrigation hardware and facilitate easy maintenance.
Built-in Alwasail Swing joint allows direct installation to a 1/2″ HDPE fitting.
Recommended pressure range: 1.0 to 4.8 bar (100 to 480 kPA).
